Botsu is a Bribri shaman and medicine man who has lived on his people’s land for over four decades. He is an expert in plant medicine and Bribri oral tradition, history, and rituals and desires nothing more than to pass on his vast knowledge. Founder of Escuela de Magia Verde, for decades he has provided tourists and locals alike with medicines and education about medicinal and edible plants. He is an exotic foods jungle chef, creating masterpieces of texture and flavor using ingredients you watched him harvest before your eyes, often times using nothing but his machete.
